Our Story
Crosstimber is a commercial and residential real estate development firm based in San Antonio, Texas. It is a family own an operated business that was established in 2007 by our president Bernardo Serra-Oliver.
During the 2008 market crash, Crosstimber's focus changed from developing new residential single family homes to specializing in home renovations and repairs of distressed properties. The company’s expertise lies in its ability to restore a property consistent with its original architectural style while adding modern conveniences and comforts that homebuyers are seeking today.
Crosstimber was able to acquire a wide variety of distressed properties in it's early years and we decided to keep the properties that where located in the historical district of San Antonio because this is where we though the highest appreciation in real estate value was going to come from and thank god we were right.
Today Crosstimber owns and manages a wide variety of apartments and single family homes in the historical districts of San Antonio.
In the past five years Crosstimber has been concentration its time in developing commercial real estate projects on the north side of San Antonio, which include a total of 131,491 square feet within four flex-office warehouse developments and one 28,835 square feet retail shopping center.
Today Crosstimber Developments focuses primarily on three product lines: build to own, build to lease, and project management.
Our President
Bernardo Serra-Oliver arrived at San Antonio in January 2004, is the owner and president of the company, he comes from a family that has been in the real estate business for generations in Spain. he holds a degree in business administration and a postgraduate degree in Finance.
Before he founded Crosstimber, he work in his family business for 19 years.
He enjoys sailing and snow skiing in his free time.
